Timeline - News in Context App Reviews

This app is wonderful. Ive imagined an app like this before, and here it is installed on my iPhone. The only improvement I can suggest is pressing out content faster! I wanna keep reading articles via Timeline, but Ive already read everything. Also, not every article has to have a timeline that goes back a couple centuries to the beginning of time... There could easily be interesting pieces of writing with timelines that only span a few months, especially for sports-related articles.

Yes it looks great. But as others have said the historical context is not well sourced and often feels very opinionated or one sided. And each time line item is written with a little cliff hanger, Ie Boko was a peaceful group but that was all about to change.... Lame.

Its like the news app of my dreams

Incredibly detailed news that takes many historic events into context. Hopefully with widespread adoption articles can release at a faster pace.

This app is still great, the design has just gotten better!

Temp 1-star to alert you that the last update is not opening at all. Crashes immediately every time.

This app is great. Its long form journalism at its finest, giving you the historical context of current events. Its well designed, entertaining and educational. I love it! You guys should make a podcast out of this app :)

Great idea for an app but a few key flaws. One being it never saves articles that I ask it to save. Whats the point of bookmarking if it doesnt keep.

Great app except for one key feature: the bookmarking or "read later" feature does not work at all. I have read numerous complaints about this, but nothing has been done. Hopefully this can be addressed. It would also be nice to have access to the archives - apparently this is something the timeline folks are working on.

Best news outlet in the AppStore. Great concept, clean interphase, 100% free... What not to like?

This is a "paid-worthy" app. A lot of work has gone into this and I enjoy it.

Rarely do I download an app I am so immersed with so quickly! The stories are relevant and their history makes us only understand their true value. Im hooked!! The layout is beautiful which is only a plus!
