Great concept, poor delivery

The idea of this app is excellent. Showing how history interacts with current events is brilliant and much needed. By giving context to a story, it places that stores into a larger narrative with greater understanding. I highly applaud the concept.

However, the journalism used by the writers is atrocious. It is extremely biased. The writers rarely try to articulate the crux of the issue they are writing about. Most often they merely give their own point of view, with arguments and past events curtailed to that view. Opposing arguments are either glossed over or never mentioned; in some cases they are even mocked. Very little of what is written is actual news, while the vast majority is Op-Ed.
